Marvel Comics has released Astonishing X-Men #50 a day early to increase interest in next month’s super-secret not so secret wedding. Marvel has hinted at a big wedding event in June’s issue of Astonishing X-Men, but this month’s issue confirms the rumors. Northstar, an openly gay superhero, is getting married. This issues starts a historic event in comic books. Marvel Comics is sure to gain a massive amount of publicity for the First Gay Wedding in Comic Books, almost guaranteeing Astonishing X-Men #50 will be an instant collector’s item.
