The Super Bowl for comic book shops is here, FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

Saturday, May 6th from 9am to 8pm.

You know we have to outdo last year’s event with an even more massive celebration. This year will be the biggest and most fun yet. We have even better deals, specials prizes and fun planned for you all day long! Keep up with the discussion on our Facebook Event Page.

Free Comics

There will be 39 different comic book titles for Free Comic Book Day 2017. Over 10,000 comic books will be given away for FREE! These books are highly sought after and will be gone by the end of the day. Get to Cosmic Comics! early for the best selection!

In addition to the Free Comics to choose from, everyone will get these three books for FREE just for attending:

Mega Raffle

This year there will be three Grand Prizes for our Mega Raffle!

In addition to the Grand Prizes, there will be numerous other prizes raffled off during the Mega Raffle. The drawing will be held at 6pm and you must be present to win.

There are three ways to earn raffle tickets:

One ticket for every $25 you spend (pre tax)
One ticket for arriving in costume
Early Bird Special (see below)

You can earn a Bonus Ticket by cosplaying as Roland and Melanie’s favorite DC character Nightwing!

Early Bird Specials

Wake up early to get to Cosmic Comics! for Free Comic Book Day 2017. If you are in line when we open our doors you will be able to get Double the Free Comics and you will get a raffle ticket for the Mega Raffle.

FCBD Exclusive Iron Fist POP!

Cosmic Comics will have a limited number of the Free Comic Book Day 2017 Exclusive Iron Fist POP! from Funko for sale. They will be available to purchase on a first come, first serve basis. Limit one per person.

The morning of, there will be a separate line to enter the store for those who wish to bypass the long (very long) Free Comic line and partake in the other activities or sales first. Then choosing to pick up their Free Comics later during the day. It is recommended that you use this line to ensure you get your Iron Fist POP!.

Local Artists

Get FREE sketches from these local Las Vegas artists throughout the day.

Hourly Raffles

There will be raffles every hour between 12pm and 5pm. Everyone who attends will receive a raffle ticket just for walking through the doors. Each hour there will be numerous goodies and swag raffled off. Check our social media pages for previews leading up to Free Comic Book Day 2017.

Flash Sales

Not the Grant Gustin kind, the without warning kind. Throughout the day, our Store Manager Roland will be putting items on a riduclous discount for a limited amount of time. As he puts it, it’s “whatever I can get away with when Brian’s not listening”. Another great reason to hang out and partake in all the Free Comic Book Day 2017 activites.

Face Painters for the Kids

For kids and kids at heart there will be face painters to help them look like their favorite comic book character.

Photographer in Store

We will have a photographer on hand throughout the day to capture all the fun, costumes, raffle winners and more!
