Food Drive at Cosmic Comics to benefit Three Square!

Cosmic Comics and Three Square are teaming up this Holiday Season!

During the holiday season, many of us are ready to start giving this season by purchasing gifts and sharing meals with our loved ones. We are also reaching out to the 1 in 6 Nevada households struggling with hunger by including a donation to Three Square Food Bank at the top of our Holiday Gift List.  We’re asking you to join in and do the same by making your donations from Saturday December 7th – Sunday, December 22nd, 2013 at Cosmic Comics.  We will be accepting monetary donations as well as donations of non-perishable food items, and some personal hygiene / cleaning products.  PLEASE, NO GLASS CONTAINERS!!!  Cosmic Comics will also be accepting monetary donations to be donated to Three Square Food Bank alongside the non-perishable food products donated by the community.

Three Square Food Bank has provided us with a wish lists for donation items: one general wish list, and one child-friendly wish list.  Donating items from both of these lists are incredibly important due to the increased need for items during the Holiday Season, while many adults and parents are away at work, and 55% of Clark County School District children who are enrolled in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program will not be receiving their regular school lunches during the Winter Break. While our community is working to give to those in need, Cosmic Comics! wants to thank your efforts by giving back to you!  We will be giving out PRIZES raffle style at the end of our drive.  And one GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive a Green Lantern Movie 5 Figure Bust Set! Here’s how to win:

1. Bring in Non-Perishable Food and Hygiene Items in NON-GLASS Containers OR
2. Make a Monetary Donation in Store
3. Receive Your Color Coded Prize Ticket
4. Wait for the Winning Ticket to be chosen on Sunday, December 22nd, 2013.
