The 2015 Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever at Cosmic Comics!
It’s that time of year again! Halloween ComicFest is fast approaching – Saturday, October 31st. We’re holding a full-on party all day long complete with food, giveaways, sales, face painting, FREE sketches from local artists, and “The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever!”
With Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to get sexy, get nerdy, and get spooky. It’s Costume Contest time and this year, Cosmic Comics gives you the opportunity to participate in two!
“The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever!”
You can enter the Official Halloween ComicFest Costume contest with a ton of cool prizes by picking up one of the FREE Halloween ComicFest 2015 comics and entering on their site (Full Contest Details Here). Cosmic Comics will also have Costume Contest in-store on Saturday October 31st with 2 Kid Categories and 2 Adult Categories.
The rules are easy:
- Procure epic Halloween costume.
- Come to the Cosmic Comics Halloween ComicFest on Saturday, October 31st.
- Let our photographer take your photo in said epic Halloween costume holding one of the FREE Halloween ComicFest comic books.
- We’ll upload it here for your entry in “The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever!”
- Get votes online.

Prizes include:
Two Grand Prize Winners will be randomly selected from all contest entries to win a $500 Shopping Spree at our comic shop. There is one Adult (14 years old and up) and one Kid (13 years old and under) Grand Prize Winner for a total of 2 winners.
Ten Costume Category Random Winners – A contestant will be randomly selected in each costume category to win a $100 Shopping Spree at our comic shop. There is one Adult (14 years old and up) and one Kid (13 years old and under) random winner in each costume category for a total of 10 winners.
Ten Costume Category Vote Winners – The contestant receiving the most votes in each costume category (Superhero/Comics, TV/Movie, Gamer, Horror, Original) receives their costume category’s Prize Pack from our great Halloween ComicFest Sponsors. There is one Adult (14 years old and up) and one Kid (13 years old and under) Scary Costume Category Vote Winner in each costume category for a total of 10 winners.
That’s great, but you have to wait until Friday, November 13th to find out who wins.
We’re also having our own costume contest on October 30th – you win the same day and everything! We’ll even have special guest judges from Critical Care Comics and trust us when we say they know how to cosplay, so if you want to win, you better “bring it!”

Rules:
- Contest Begins at 6:00 PM
- You MUST be present to win.
- Having an awesome time is essential.
We’re choosing a 1st and 2nd prize winner for each category – so we’ll have 8 winners in total. Prizes are going to include: grab-bags, comics, plushies, trades and gift cards! Add that to sketches from local artists, free comic books, and a sweet party – this is going to be the best Halloween EVER!
