Golden Age 2×3 maps can be used

Choose one character on your team. If that character is on it’s Home Map it gains the following trait:
HOME COOKING: This character gets +1 to all of its stats. At the beginning of the turn, give this character a free action and choose a standard attack or damage power. This character can use that power until your next turn.

Examples of characters on their Home Maps:
Dr. Strange on Dr. Strange Mansion from Amazing Spider-Man
Hal Jordan on Ferris Air from GL
A character with the Legion of Doom Keyword on Hall of Doom from SLoSH

Archer figures can be from Golden Age sets

All figures with a Bow in their sculpt gain the “Archer” named keyword and the following trait:
When another friendly character makes a ranged combat attack against a target opposing figure, modify the friendly character’s attack value by +1 if this character has a clear line of fire to the target and the target is within this character’s range.
