Join Cosmic Comics Thursday, July 30th from 4pm to 7pm for the first event in our new ongoing monthly Board Game Night series.  First up is the 8-Bit throwback game Boss Monster.

Boss Monster is a retro-inspired dungeon-building card game from indie publisher Brotherwise Games. Designed for 2-4 players, Boss Monster is packed with nostalgic references to 8-bit video games, dungeon-crawling RPGs, and geeky pop culture. Players compete to become the ultimate villain: the final boss at the end of a side-scrolling dungeon.

Here is a quick introduction to Boss Monster to get you ready for Board Game Night.

Cosmic’s monthly Board Game Night series is designed for both veteran gamers and those who have never played the game before.  Each month we will highlight one game for the night.  Demos of the game will be run by our Demoer Aubry to teach new players how to play the game.  Those experienced with the game are also encouraged to come to the shop to get some pick-up games in.
