Synopsis for “The Escape of… Monsteroso!”
An alien child accidentally presses the escape pod button of his parent’s spacecraft while in the vicinity of Earth and is thrown from the wreckage and rendered unconscious in an African jungle. An American circus owner hears of native reports of a crashed ship, goes to investigate, and discovers the creature whom he mistakenly assumes to be dead. He forgets about displaying the monstrous being in his circus and instead delivers him to a museum whereupon he regains consciousness. The startled creature wanders New York city for awhile, until hounded by the military and their tear gas shells, climbs up the side of the UN building. They shoot him with a tranquilizer dart which makes him fall into the river. His parents eventually eventually arrive and recover their child. They state “It is fortunate he is unharmed. Fortunate…FOR YOU.” and leave Earth.
