When you think about people you wouldn’t want to piss off, I’d say Superman is in the top 5 of that list. Joker, yeah he don’t think that way. Let’s just say in Injustice #1 this week, the Joker takes his insanity to the next level destroying everything Superman holds dear. The consequences that follow appear to affect more than just the Joker.

If some of you aren’t aware, Injustice: Gods Among Us is actually going to be a fighting game involving DC’s most famous heroes and villains using the revamped Mortal Kombat engine. What better way to garner another audience then to coerce them into another product.

I do applaud DC though, Injustice #1 isn’t just some poorly put together book, the story by Tom Tayler is really quite dark and not lacking in the shock department. Flaws are of personal opinion, mine being the disdain for multiple artists in one book, and Injustice #1 has three artists over 30 pages. I find this tactic distracting and ultimately takes away from the book. Luckily for Injustice, Taylor’s story easily holds you hostage.
