The surprised look on Brian’s face (co-owner of Cosmic Comics) when Matt handed over Super Crooks to me yesterday, “Millar has this book out too?”, was more a look of joyous surprise that Mark Millar had indeed released two books this month.  I’m going to assume Millar, of Kick Ass fame, rarely releases books either on time or at all.

This being my first experience with Mark Millar’s work, I’m glad I’ve had this opportunity to partake in his writing.  Yes, I’m green when it comes to anything that’s happened in the comic book universe since the late nineties, but the basics of a good read still remain the same, and apparently Millar has found that niche.
