Hawkeye vs Deadpool #0: because every murder investigation deserves this dream team of antiheroes. Like a sitcom mixed with cop drama, Hawkeye vs Deadpool #0 delivers the dark with the funny. I don’t know what anyone else would really expect from this bunch, the cover essentially spells it out for you.

I’ll be the first to tell you I like Deadpool, but that guys like radiation, dude’s in everything, maybe too much, but putting him with Hawkeye is pure harmony. Hawkeye vs Deadpool works and it’s oh-so-sweet. This book is just terrific.

I’d recommend doing some diaphragm exercises in preparation before reading Hawkeye vs Deadpool #0 because it is quite funny, as I’d assume you’d come to expect from the duo. The book’s filled with Clint defending his “fun size” candy bars, Ultron cosplay, cyborg S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, brain washed super thugs, selfies, and the expected fourth wall destruction of Deadpool.

Hawkeye vs Deadpool #0 is just the start of what’s going to be a wacky and hilarious story of two not so great heroes doing some not so great investigations of a crime that probably deserves much more professional attention, which makes it kind of like some messed up Law and Order parody.
